VRC Provides Technology for Wacoal's New "SCANBE base" Service

Wacoal Corporation began offering its new 3D measurement service "SCANBE base" on July 1, 2026, delivered using a 3D body scanner developed by VRC Inc.

"SCANBE base" is a new 3D measurement service designed for use at gyms and healthcare facilities. Based on body data captured through an approximately 3-second 3D scan, it visualizes full-body 360-degree 3D data along with numeric data such as volume and circumference, letting users visually track how their body changes through exercise and training. Continued measurement over time also allows comparison with past data and tracking of changes, supporting sustained exercise habits and overall health.

The service allows quick measurement while wearing form-fitting clothing such as training wear, and can be used regardless of gender. Measurement results can be checked on a smartphone, offering a new 3D measurement experience for the sports and healthcare fields.
